This here blog has become near and dear to my heart, more than I thought was possible. When I started writing, I thought I would write about the fun, light day to day things that happened to The Man and me. I thought it would be a place very few, if any, others ever came. And if I'm truly honest, I thought it would be just one more thing that I started but didn't finish. But, somewhere along the way, between football tickets and jello, something more started to come of it. At some point, it turned off the straight, narrow path I'd thought it would be on and started down a different road.
It became a story of more than just our day to day. Of more than just our love. It became a story of rediscovering my faith. It became a story of owning up to our failures. It became the story of changes in our marriage. It became our journey down the road home.
So, I ask you to please continue this journey with me (us). Down the road less travelled. Heck, the road that wasn't even on our map. The content probably won't be changed much, as long ago this blog evolved, but the name and address are changing now to catch up. I've packed up all of our stuff (old posts, labels, comments, etc.) and moved it all over to the new place. I've left room to grow. And I've hopefully created a place that you will continue to visit and bless me with your presence. You see, without you, I wouldn't have had the strength to travel down this road. I wouldn't have shared my fears and my flaws. And most importantly, I certainly wouldn't be on the road that I am on now.
Without further adieu, I introduce and invite you to The Road Home.

Dear Rebecca, I found your blog online today, and I wonder whether you live in the greater Charleston area. I am the Director of Communications at The Maximus Group, a Catholic communications firm in the Atlanta area. We are working on an event you might be interested in that's June 21 in Charleston. Will you please email me at tlilley@maximusmg.com? Thanks in advance. I hope to hear from you soon. God Bless, Tim Lilley, Director of Commmunications, The Maximus Group (www.maximusmg.com) and WVU grad, class of 1978!
